True Care Pharmacy was founded in 2003 by pharmacist and owner Mike Sobh, RPh. Our original location was on Pardee Road in Taylor, where we serviced our beloved community for 11 ½ years at that location. In 2014, True Care moved to its current, larger facility on Ecorse Road, which has allowed for an expansion of our healthcare services, such as a consultation room, drive-thru service, and evolving into an advanced medical supply carrier. True Care Pharmacy has been a staple in the wonderful Taylor community for over 13 years! Pharmacist Mike Sobh is a graduate of Ferris State University’s College of Pharmacy. Upon graduation, Mike worked for one of the major drugstore chains in the United States until he fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning his own pharmacy. Mike wanted a name that addressed his genuine concern for his patient’s well being and the honesty behind this defining milestone in his life; hence the realization of True Care Pharmacy. As an alumnus and friend of Ferris State University, Mike is invested in assuring future practitioners a promising outlook, offering a yearly scholarship for the University’s College of Pharmacy students. In addition, True Care Pharmacy provides internship opportunities where Mike and his team are dedicated to help train and prepare students for the ever-changing healthcare environment. As a certified practitioner of Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Mike is a collaborative member of his patient’s healthcare team and works to optimize their safe and effective medication use. In addition, Mike is Immunization certified, utilizing his innovative skills to be a primary source for vaccine information and administration. Mike has also served as a Health Mart Ambassador. Mike is married and has four beautiful children. His service activities include numerous committees at the community level. When he is not attending to his patient’s needs, Mike enjoys spending quality time with his close-knit family, as well as leisurely playing golf.
